Dr Wee was the Head of department for Orthopaedic Surgery at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital before setting up Pinnacle Orthopaedic & Sports Centre.
Dr Wee has an extraordinary love for sports and he previously represented Singapore in squash. Because of his love for sports, he continues to mingle with and treat athletes of all ages in his clinical practice.

Dr Andy Wee performs current and proven techniques in shoulder and elbow surgeries.

He started and popularized the use of intra-medullary device for the fixation of proximal humeral fractures in Singapore since 2014.

He also introduced the technique of buttress plating of coronoid fractures of the elbow locally.

Dr Wee is often invited to talk at regional conferences on the techniques in arthroscopic knee surgery such as antero-lateral ligament reconstruction for ACL injuries, and meniscus root repair.
